Tattoo Tannies is a studio with bricks and wheels — a chair wif bricks in Lyttelton or a chair at your events with the caravan (you'll know it when you see it).

The auntie who will feed you, fuss over you, and make sure the ink is done right.We bring professional tattoos, piercings and permanent jewellery to you: private sessions, birthdays, markets, festivals and corporate days. From first tattoos to sleeves with a story, we are here to make the piece mean something.

Questions about bookings, deposits and what to do before you sit. If it is not here, WhatsApp us.
How do I book an appointment?
Send a WhatsApp to +27 82 531 8146 (Shirley) with your idea, placement, size and a few dates. Studio sessions are by appointment only. We also book the mobile setup for events.
How does pricing work?
Price depends on size, detail and time. Small walk-up pieces and full-day bookings are quoted separately. Send a reference photo and we will give you a range before a deposit is taken.
What is the waiting period?
Weekday studio slots are often within two weeks. Weekends and events book further out. WhatsApp us for the current diary.
How do cancellations work?
A deposit holds the chair. Reschedule with at least 48 hours’ notice to keep it. Same-day cancellations forfeit the deposit.
What should I do before the visit?
Eat, sleep, skip alcohol and blood-thinners for 24 hours, and wear something that opens onto the area. Bring ID for consent. Aftercare is walked through before you leave.
Do you travel?
Yes. Tattoo Tannies is both a Lyttelton studio and a mobile unit for markets, expos, birthdays and corporate days across Gauteng.
